Brand Planner Internship

During my time at HLK as the brand planner intern, I worked on two different projects for the agency. The first was a brand repositioning of an already existing company, the second was a positioning for a brand new company.

  • The initial project was for Harris House rehabilitation center who asked us to conduct research and find a target market to increase their customer base. After conducting research, I crafted a new brand positioning and overall brand identity to target the market I selected as the best market for them. I briefed my creative team and stayed engaged with them while they worked off of my positioning to redesign the companies identity’s deeper pieces.

  • We began this project by meeting with our client who was developing a startup interior design company. We had no name, no company identity, and no overall positioning already established. We took this blank slate and created a beautiful brand for our client to move forward with. I researched and found that the tactics she wanted to engage her clients with would allow her to tell a beautiful story in every home she designed. I turned this idea into a brand positioning, delivered it to my creative teams and the client, and ensured that all elements of the brand design stayed on target with the overall positioning.
